The cinema, which features high-end brand Prime at Wanda using RealD’s ultimate 500th screen, celebrated its launch last month.
In December 2018, RealD and Wanda signed a purchase agreement to install 100 RealD Ultimate screens in Wanda’s cinemas across China over the next three years. The majority of displays were to be installed in Wanda’s own premium display brand, Prime at Wanda. Prime at Wanda is a brand that integrates various industry-advanced cinematic technologies, including high frame rate laser projectors, immersive sound, RealD 3D and RealD Ultimate Screen, aiming to deliver stunning visuals and immersive experiences.
RealD’s Ultimate Display is a breakthrough, state-of-the-art display technology delivering superior brightness, sharper and more refined images, best-in-class uniformity, and dramatically reduced 3D ghosting, creating an unparalleled viewing experience for the cinephile customer. He is the recipient of an HPA (Hollywood Professional Association) award for excellence in engineering.
The advanced technology is now installed in 21 countries and 172 cities around the world. Most of them are in premium and Premium Large Format (PLF) auditoriums, including RealD LUXE’s own premium brands: A RealD Experience and RealD Cinema.
