BROOKLYN, NY – – The Other Half Brewing Co team is proud to announce All Together, a global beer collaboration created to raise funds and raise awareness of the industry we love so much. Regardless of the location or the circumstances, when a member of the hospitality industry is struggling, the rest of the group (including brewers, waiters, bartenders, buses, dishwashers, general managers, etc. buyers, chefs and owners) step in to help and lend a hand.
With this in mind, Other Half Brewing (OHB) is spearheading the All Together Project, launched by a collective of beer industry partners from around the world, to raise awareness and provide relief to those struggling in the industry as we are all in this together.
âRaising awareness of the devastating losses in the hospitality industry is the central vision for this project,â said Matt Monahan, co-founder of Other Half Brewing. “We want to keep these losses at the forefront of conversations so that anyone who wants to help can learn what’s going on and find a way to help with the recovery.”
How does the project work? #AllTogetherBeer invites any brewer, from any corner of the planet, to participate by providing the tools needed to make beer at the lowest possible cost, including an open source recipe, artwork and a name. In exchange, the collective asks that part of the profits go to support hospitality professionals in the community of each brewery. The rest should be donated to keep the brewery in business to weather this storm.
- Recipe: OHB has created a basic recipe that is easily prepared with common ingredients. Each participating brewery can modify the beer as it sees fit and brew it as it sees fit.
- Artwork + Label: Stout Collective created the label artwork that can be personalized by the brewery, and Blue Label Printing offered to print it at cost.
- Website: The Craftpeak team donated their time, talent and technology to the site
Breweries can get involved by contacting alltogether.beer/ for more information.
Beer drinkers can support this cause by signing up to the mailing list. The beers are brewed all over the world and the newsletter will keep beer lovers around the world informed when they are available for purchase at their local brewery.
At OHB, proceeds from All Together will go to the Restaurant Workers Community Foundation; https://www.restaurantworkerscf.org/ and beer is expected to be available from April 2020. Social assets can be found here.
