CHICAGO — Hope Alexander, a leading facilities development professional, has joined Burns & McDonnell in Chicago to support the company’s growing manufacturing facilities solutions portfolio and customer base nationwide. She will lead the development of integrated design and build services for a wide range of markets, including biotechnology/life sciences, advanced manufacturing, food and beverage, consumer products and institutional facilities.

With over 35 years of experience in all facets of the AEC industry, Alexander has worked in numerous technical markets around the world, including biotechnology/life sciences, advanced manufacturing, product distribution , food and beverage, mission critical and aviation.
Additionally, she has worked for entrepreneurial startups and large, well-established companies. She has been instrumental in the revenue and personnel growth of several companies providing program management, design-build, advanced construction technology, materials handling consulting, and architectural and design services. ‘engineering.
Alexander is involved in professional and industry organizations including the International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineers (ISPE) and Corporate Real Estate Women (CREW).
