Bain’s Seoul office promotes Jiho Park and Jungkyu Lim as partners

Bain & Company, a management consulting firm with more than $4.5 billion in revenue worldwide, has appointed two new partners to its Seoul office: Jiho Park and Jungkyu Lim.

The two new partners were admitted into the partnership within the ranks of Bain. Park has been with the consulting firm since early 2015 (after serving LEK Consulting and PwC), while Lim joined in 2008 as a fresh MBA graduate.

The promotion sees Bain & Company’s partner team in Seoul reach the 20 mark, a record since the consultancy arrived in South Korea thirty years ago. Bain’s office in Seoul supports local and international clients with strategy, transactions, operations, organization and change, among others.

Jiho Park is a member of the firm’s consumer products practice. His experience covers a variety of topics including business transformation, performance turnaround, cost reduction, new business entry, comprehensive plan development, and product industry focused business due diligence projects. retail and consumer in South Korea and globally.

A graduate of Seoul National University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, Park earned an MBA from Columbia Business School.

Jungkyu Lim is a partner in the Energy & Natural Resources and Advanced Manufacturing & Services departments of Bain & Company. He has experience in areas of corporate strategy such as full potential strategy, new business strategy, global expansion strategy and mergers and acquisitions. He also led organizational and corporate culture projects.

Lim, who earned an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management, serves clients in a wide variety of industries, including heavy industry (oil and gas, steel and chemicals), renewable energy and the capital sector. -investment.
